Chennai, Aug 11 (PTI) FMCG major CavinKare has appointed popular South Indian pretty actress Trisha Krishnan as its new brand ambassador for its popular selling fairness cream ''Fairever''.The city-headquartered company in a statement said: "Trisha is the new face of the brand, bringing freshness and relevance to consumers across the region".
CavinKare said it has developed a new television commercial along with Trisha for the product which also incorporates new packaging. The new Fairever is priced from Rs 5 for 9 grams, to Rs 102 for 80 grams.
It said the cream has extracts of Saffron, Licorice as they are excellent depigmenting agents and also milk which helps in skin moisturising and conditioning.
CavinKare currently offers various products under personal care, foods, dairy and beverage categories. It reported a turnover of Rs 1,017 crore in the last fiscal ending March 31, 2011 the statement added.
