* Venkat prabhu requests Trisha to dub herself

There's been lots of talk about Mankatha and plenty of hype surrounds the performances of `the ultimate star, Thala Ajith Kumar & 'South's Stylish Icon 'Trisha Krishnan'.

Kollywood's much awaited upcoming film Mankatha is Ajith’s 50th and Trisha’s 40th in their respective film careers, would have its audio-launch through the radio channel ‘Radio Mirchi’ tomorrow wherein all the songs from the film would be aired on the channel.

Speaking to the press, director Venkat Prabhu said “Trisha plays a cute character in the film, who falls in love with Ajith. The consequences she has to face because of this, give an interesting turn to the plot. Actually Trisha plays a vital role in this guys' flick, where males dominate and the actress shares great chemistry with Ajith and the romantic sequences between Ajith and Trisha have come off really well. Trisha doesn’t appear merely as a glam-doll but has a very significant role in the film. She has been dubbing in her own voice for character in the film. After the film’s shooting was over, I saw the rushes and felt it would be better if Trisha dubbed in her own voice for her role."

Her voice would suit the character perfectly, I spoke to Trisha about this; she immediately agreed to the idea. She has done a good job in the film, which would very soon be at a theatre near you. I’m sure the film would be just perfect to satisfy the ‘hungry’ fans of Ajith, who haven’t had a release of their ‘Thala’ in more than an year and are eagerly awaiting the 50th film of their idol!” concludes Venkat Prabhu.
