Thalaivar Rajinikanth and Gorgeous looking Trisha Krishnan have been awarded with the ‘Most Stylish’ tags in the entertainment industry through a popular voting carried out by NDTV HINDU. The NDTV HINDU Lifestyle Awards 2011 celebrates everything ‘Chennai’ under 34 categories including the favorite retail malls, hotspots, gyms, cine-plexes and a lot more. The ‘Entertainer of the Decade’ award deservedly went to Thalaivar Rajinikanth. No brownie points for guessing it was his Enthiran whirlwind that caught the attention of many not just nationally but also internationally, adding to his ever increasing demi-god status .Enthiran also had some biggies including Director Shankar loved for his commercial cliches and hot and babelicious Aishwarya Rai satisfying the glamour loving audience. Superstar Rajini will soon return with another big offering in Rana. The winners were honored with an exclusive designer Swarovski trophy, on August 31st July, 2011 at a gala event in Raintree Hotel in Anna Salai, Chennai past Sunday.

Riding high on confidence she recently stated, that being in the industry for more than eight (8) years there is hardly anyone left to compete against. She is really enjoying her ‘hot-seat’ status pairing opposite Kollywood top-shots and keenly looking forward to her upcoming release in Mankatha. The ‘Hosanna’ pretty girl was crowned ‘The Most Stylish Actress’ in a popular poll that also included other top heroines including Anushka Shetty, Tamannah Bhatia, Hansika Motwani and Shriya Saran. She had earlier appealed to her fans saying, “Please bring in your votes. Cheers.” On receiving the award for The Most Stylish Actress she thanked each one of them saying, “Just won the NDTV Hindu ‘Style Icon’ award.Thank u all so much.Your votes and support means a lot.”
