They only went public with their relationship in October, when they were spotted strolling hand-in-hand in New York.

Now Zoe Kravitz and Penn Badgley appear to be enjoying a full blown romance.

The bikini clad X-Men: First Class actress and her Gossip Girl star beau were seen enjoying some poolside canoodling in Miami today.

Staring into each other eyes, the couple appeared smitten struggling to keep their hands off each other as they went for a dip to cool down.

Penn, 25, opted to wear a pair of multicolored swimming trunks and sported a bushy beard and wild hair.

Later the pair moved their affections onto the beach, where the couple enjoyed cocktails on the sand.

Laying on a lounge, they once again were bewitched by one another and appeared to be enjoying an intimate chat.

They were later joined by friends, having a laugh and a joke.

As they left the public beach Penn opted to cover up in a pair of shorts and a t-shirt, while Zoe continued to show off her figure in her two-piece.

Zoe and Penn had been rumoured to have been dating since July this year, but only made their relationship public last October.

The pair were first linked back in July when they attended two premieres together.

They were then seen in early October passionately kissing during a night out at New York nightclub Sons Of Essex.

Both Penn and Zoe have been linked to fellow actors in the past, with Penn dating his Gossip Girl co-star Blake Lively and Zoe enjoying a romance with fellow X-Men: First Class actor Michael Fassbender.

As well as starring in Gossip Girl, Penn has been working hard trying to further his movie career.

He recently starred in thriller Margin Call alongside The Mentalist heartthrob Simon Baker and can soon be seen in Greetings From Tim Buckley alongside William Sadler and Imogen Poots.

Zoe, meanwhile, is enjoying huge success since starring as Angel Salvadore in X-Men: First Class, and can soon be seen starring with Charlize Theron and Tom Hardy in Mad Max: Fury Road.

But Zoe is finding it difficult to comprehend the fact that she's being offered roles in such high-profile films.

She said in a recent interview: 'When it comes to stuff like X-Men, I just didn't think that I would get that part.

'I just think I auditioned because people were auditioning and my agent was like, "Please go", and had to talk me into going!'
