All the gang together: David and Victoria are star guests at surprise party to celebrate sister Joanne's birthday

Family ties: David and Victoria Beckham joined his sisters Lynne (front) and Joanne (to his right) for her birthday dinner in London last night

Living in Los Angeles for most of the year, the Beckhams don't see a lot of their respective families.
But the family who recently arrived to spend Christmas and New Year in Britian have taken the opportunity to catch up with them.
And last night, David, 36, and Victoria were the star guests at a party to celebrate his elder sister Joanne's 30th birthday, along with his sister Lynne, 38.

Birthday treat: Joanne tweeted her happiness at seeing her friends and family at her special dinner

And from her Tweets, Joanne had no idea that David and Victoria, 37, had arranged the surprise dinner for his younger sibling.
She knew she was going to her favourite restaurant Roka, a modern Japanese place in the heart of Fitzrovia in central London.
But she was surprised to see her close friends and family there and Tweeted: 'Aww turned up at my fav restaurant and can't believe my close friends and family was here !!!! Amazin !!! So happy.'
And while Joanne's big day isn't until February, she was thrilled to have been able to celebrate her birthday early with her siblings.
She wrote on her Twitter page: 'My bday is feb 19th and I will b 30 but we celerbrated early jus in case my big bro wasn't here !! Had a amazin nite.'

Happy days: David posted this picture of him about to tuck into a big plate of pie and mash

And clearly David was delighted to see his sister so happy that he arranged for a group photo that he promptly posted on his Facebook page and wrote: 'Merry Xmas everyone....just at my little sister Jo's birthday party tonight.'
Beckham can be seen beaming at the back of the photo with the birthday girl right next to him on his right and his eldest sister Lynne in front.
And the cheeky footballer couldn't resist acting a bit childishly as he put two fingers up behind Joanne's head.

David enjoyed Tony's pie and mash in Waltham Abbey

Victoria stood off to the side on the right in between two of Joanne's friends as someone captured the moment.
But clearly the fancy Japanese food wasn't enough for David, who has probably been craving some good old English food while in the US.
Because he posted another picture to his Facebook page, this time just off him looking very happy as he posed with a big bowl of food at a pie and mash shop in London.
