You've missed a bit! Elle Macpherson displayed an uneven tan line as she hit the beach in Australia in a cutaway wetsuit during her Christmas holiday Down Under

She might be an Australian native but it seems Elle Macpherson still hasn't got the hang of achieving an even tan.
The 47-year-old model hit the surf during her holiday Down Under yesterday displaying something of an uneven tan in her cutaway wetsuit.
But Elle looked entirely unconcerned by her tanning mishap, grinning with delight as she made her way into the water armed with her surfboard.

It appeared that Elle had indulged in some sunbathing the day before, donning a pair of low-slung bikini bottoms which left a pale white line along her hips.
Elle has been enjoying the sunshine in Australia on holiday with her sons Arpad and Aurelius, along with father Peter and sister Mimi.
And despite her unfortunate VTL (Visible Tan Line), Elle looked in great shape as she enjoyed a morning workout on the waves.

Earlier in the day, Elle and her family had visited the Byron Bay tourist attraction The Macadamia Castle.

Park owner Tony Gilding, a former publishing executive who first met Elle back in 1992 when he published her swimsuit calendars, told Australia's Daily Telegraph of her visit: 'She was lovely. Charming as always and very down to earth.
'She was there with her family and they just wandered around the park like anyone else and were generally unbothered.'

While many people use the Christmas break to indulge in some calorific treats and let the exercise regime so slightly, Elle seems to be doing everything she can to stay in shape on her holiday.
As well as surfing, Elle was spotted enjoying an early morning run with father Peter, who is recovering from prostate cancer.
It is believed Elle and her family are enjoying their holiday at the exclusive Watego's Beach in Byron Bay.
