The Amazing Spider-Man: In official stills released yesterday, Andrew Garfield is seen in his full web-spinning human arachnid glory
We've been shown lots of action shots from on set, sneak peaks at goings on behind the scenes and even a teaser trailer to whet our spidey senses.
But yesterday, comic book fans were treated to some official stills from the new Spider-Man movie, giving them yet another taste of things to come when the film hits the big screens next summer.
And they get to see Andrew Garfield as the friendly neighbourhood superhero in full costume - and as geeky Peter Parker trying out his skills for the first time.
He flies through the air with the greatest of ease: Andrew, as Peter Parker, practices swooping in an old barn
Garfield, who has taken over from Tobey Maguire as the human arachnid, looks right at home in his new role, especially the one of him in full costume, which fits him to perfection.
Fans also see Andrew, who performed his own stunts, practising swinging through the air before he gets the hang of hurling across buildings on his web silk.
There's also another shot of him developing his costume with the web shooters on his wrist as he tries the best method for flinging them out.
Go go gadget web! Parker develops his costume including a contraption to fling his silk from his wrists
And we also see him illuminated by a blue light, which could be showing Parker doing something scientific.
The film also stars rising star Emma Stone, who plays Gwen Stacey, Parker's high school classmate and his love interest, who, despite her studious nature, looks very pretty as she was seen with her school books and blonde hair, which is Stone's natural colour.
Her father, NYPD police officer Captain Stacey, is played by Deni Leary, whose character strongly approves of his daughter's relationship with Parker.
Love interest: Emma Stone, who some will recognise from this year's hit film The Help, plays Gwen Stacey
Top cop: Denis Leary plays NYPD officer Captain Stacey who is a fan of the vigilante Spider-Man
And he is also a big fan of Spider-Man and approves of his vigilante behaviour, often defending him to his friends and colleague.
Chris Zylka also stars as Eugene 'Flash' Thompson, a high school football player and classmate of Parker who bullies him mercilessly.
But it would appear that one day Parker has enough with one scene showing him pinning Thompson up against some lockers by his throat.
Don't mess with me: Parker stands up to his bully Flash Thompson, played by Chris Zylka
True blue: Parker is illuminated by a blue light, possibly during one of his science experiments
The film also stars Rhys Ifans who plays Dr Curt Connors, who transforms into super villain The Lizard after ingesting a serum containing reptile DNA.
The film, which will focus on Peter developing his spider abilities in high school, will be released next July, also stars Martin Sheen as Ben Parker, Peter's uncle, and Sally Field as his Aunt May.
