Mac my day! Slender LeAnn Rimes proves she loves her food as she visits McDonalds with husband Eddie Cibrian

'I feel like a Big Mac': Perhaps LeAnn Rimes was making a dining suggestion to her husband Eddie Cibrian at LAX Airport in Los Angeles today

She has constantly tweeted about what she eats after being criticised numerous times in the past for being too skinny.

And it seems country star LeAnn Rimes was once again out to prove that she loves her food as she visited McDonalds with her husband Eddie Cibrian today.

The pair stopped off at the popular fast food chain as they got ready to fly out from the LAX Airport in Los Angeles.

Make it so: LeAnn must have been persuasive as the pair were soon ordering at McDonalds

The pair wasted no time upon arriving to sniff out the junk food eatery.

LeAnn wasn't pictured tucking into the food, so it may have been the case she left her husband to indulge in a greasy treat.

But perhaps she tucked into two meals, as she had earlier posted on Twitter about her love for raw fish.

She had been boasting about her voracious appetite, telling fans she had scoffed a massive sushi lunch when she arrived in Salt Lake City.

When asked for more details by fans, she tweeted: 'The double double w/ brown rice & soy paper is amazing.

'I talk about food when I want cause I are it. My life revolves around it .If only people knew, who cares if they don't.,' she added.

Over the past few months the singer-turned-actress has tirelessly defended her weight with endless tweets about food and pictures of herself.

Back in July she even declared her love of ice-cream on the social networking site.

'Great dinner w/ our friends Troy, Elisa, Dave & Liz,' LeAnn tweeted this evening. 'I need ice cream!'

The singer's extremely slender and muscular frame had been the cause of much concern, with shots of the star's figure sparking comments over her weight loss.

One diner even approached LeAnn in a restaurant while she was eating earlier this year in Chicago, and bluntly told her: 'You need to eat something.'

The Playboy Club actor said: 'It bothers me because, obviously, I know she’s healthy. She eats more than I do sometimes.

'She’s just a very [conscientious] eater, as far as what she eats.

'She eats pretty healthy, but she works out pretty hard too and she actually takes pride in the way she looks and it’s a shame that people will jump on the bandwagon just because she is fit. And she’s far from unhealthy.'
