Sankranthi 2012 is going to be very crowded at Telugu cinema box-office with many films announced their release dates during that period.The victory Venkatesh and Gorgeous Trisha's upcoming film ‘bodyguard’ now joins the competion. The Bodyguard is touted to be an action love story. A bodyguard who doesn’t know to love a girl falls in love, circumstances that lead him to fall in love form the crux of the story.
Shooting is completed except for one song and post production works are on. It is known that the movie is the remake of the Malayalam super hit movie. Prakash Raj, Ali,Kota Srinivasa Rao, Subbaraju, Dharmavarapu Subrahmanyam and Pragathi are the other cast.
The film was expected to hit the screens in last week of November or in the first week of December. The release date has been changed. bodyguard will not hit the screens only next year i.e. on January 12, 2012.
Although the film has been completed except for one song, producer Bellamkonda wants the movie to be released during the Sankranthi festival as it fetches good openings.
"We are planning to release the music in the month of December and release the movie on January 12, 2012. Music by Taman has come out so well and we are confident of the move's super success," producer Bellamkonda said.
