Director Thiru has finished the first schedule of his second film with Vishal, titled Samaran, and will soon be starting the next schedule in bangkok. He says, "The first schedule was with Vishal and Sunaina and we shot mostly in Ooty. Trisha, Prakash Raj and Milind Soman will join us on December 1 in Bangkok. We will be leaving to Europe in February again." Samaran is the journey of a trekking guide and how his experience in the forest changes his life. "Vishal had to undergo a complete image makeover for his character of a Masanakudy-based forest ranger. He had to train hard in trekking, rock climbing and driving a jeep in hairpin curves," he says.
Since the film is an action adventure, Thiru is taking special care while filming the stunt scenes. "Rajashekar is choreographing the stunts. We recently shot one sequence alone in Chalakudy for eight days," he informs.
