Vishal is to play a forest mountain trekker in Samaran and has undergone special training for the purpose. The plan was to shoot those scenes in the mountainous locations in China and Vishal and director Thiru had found some good shooting spots there.After the trip to China, the duo felt that a song sequence shot there will be good. Following this idea, it has been decided to take Trisha and others along to China to shoot one song sequence.
