Bowie Lam Hints Sammul Chan's Actions are Pointless
Although Bowie Lam and TVB's contract ended already, but he still attended to their drama event yesterday. He expressed he has a good relationship with TVB. Although they are not related by contract anymore, but if there are suitable jobs, TVB would still invite him to attend. Bowie expressed money and fame are not the factors why he didn't renew his contract.
"I've been in TVB for more than 20 years. I was in a rush the last time Virginia Lok asked me to renew. This time I calmed down and thought about it more. Maybe a year later I would sign a new contract."
Talking about earning extra in Mainland, Bowie admitted many management companies and crews are inviting him to join; but right now, he doesn't want to sign a management contract: "If there are right dramas, I would film them. Because I'm the Asian TV King, I have market in Mainland, South East Asia, and even North America."
Asked whether he would appear in Cable TV or ATV's shows, Bowie appeared to be teasing Sammul Chan: "Depends on the content. If it's to declare one's sovereignty, it's pointless."

Rio
I'm having some issues with my computer, apparently my laptop likes to just erase half or all of what I just typed and then I made another mistake to get it back by refreshing back until unfortunately there wasn't anything left. It ended up automatically saving that nothing so then of course I had nothing left of what I just wrote. Soooooo, here I go again for a second time. I took my little guy to see the first big kid flick of the Spring. He's been a little more excited to see the upcoming Cars sequel and Winnie the Pooh but given that he is my kid and that he would pretty much watch anything that was on the screen I convinced him that it would be a good idea to check it out. Rio is a 3D flick but thankfully they also have some 2D screenings for those of us with little kids who can't handle wearing the glasses for 2 + hours. Which is a relief cause the last time I took Nathan to see a 3D or 4D film it really freaked him out. When we got to the theatre he was really excited to get the popcorn again and he wouldn't relinquish his grip on it until the movie was done.
The film follows a nearly extinct Macaw named Blu (Jessie Eisenberg) who finds himself a domesticated bird, who can't fly, living in Minnesota. His Human, Linda (Leslie Mann), helps him to live the good life without much of a care, until both of their lives are turned upside down when they are visited by a Brazilian ornithologist, Tulio (Rodrigo Santoro), who is interested in mating Blu with another Macaw in order to preserve the species. The only hitch is they have to travel to Rio de Janeiro in order to complete the task. Once they make it there Blu and, his soon to be mating bird, Jewel (Anne Hathaway) are kidnapped by a trio of Poachers (Carlos Ponce, Jeffrey Garcia & Davi Viera) and their evil bird, Nigel (Jemaine Clement). The Macaw's get a little help from their friends in the animal world, a couple of musical birds (Jamie Fox & Will.I.am) and a Toucan (George Lopez) who is intent on teaching Blu how to fly.
I was a little worried at first, Nathan seemed happy with his popcorn as he was munching away but after about twenty minutes he looks up at me and says, "I want to go home now, Daddy." I looked down at him and told him, "don't you want to see what happens to Blu? Maybe he'll learn how to fly and you'll be able to see that." He looks at me very cutely and said, "No, that's ok, I want to go home to see McQueen." Ugh, of course nothing holds a candle to Lightning McQueen. I leaned in and told him give it a few more minutes. Thankfully my gambit worked. Once he got to the amusing Bulldog (Tracy Morgan), he was back into it again. I found it to be a very cute film, but not quite on the level for little kiddies and it still didn't seem to be pulling the clever punches for the Adults either. But it was entertaining and Nathan in the end felt very confident about flying like his new pals Blu and Jewel. I was a little concerned with the dastardly-ness of Nigel, I could have sworn he killed a couple of the animals--but I don't think Nathan noticed, thankfully, and he didn't seem to be overly afraid of him, good news for me, cause if I had traumatized the kid Tamar would never let me take him to another movie again. All in all it should be a good time for the whole family. There isn't any language, a little action and of course that malicious bird but overall it felt pretty kid friendly. So if you are looking to take your little one to something this weekend you should definitely check this one out.

A Single Man by Tom Ford
I've been meaning to write about this beautiful film for a while now. If you haven't seen it, you much see A Single Man directed by my man, Tom Ford. Each frame in the film is like a stunning photograph that I would hang in my house.
The story takes place in the 60's, with lovely makeup and sharp tailors suits. Colin Firth is hauntingly good, and even snagged a best actor nomination for his role. I also think that the young lover is the same boy from the British TV series Skins.
The trendy teenage couple. Girl crush on the girl.
Julianne Moore's makeup, which I attemped to recreate during a night out and looked like a pre-op plastic surgery patient.
The two friends. Love Julianne's entire mod look.
The male prostitute on the left there... literally drop dead gorgeous. I'm thinking he had to be a model from one of Tom's campaigns.
Good friends swapping secrets on the floor.

Bosco Wong Denies Having More Scenes Than Michael Tse
From a recent trailer of new drama "Lives of Omission," it appears Bosco Wong might have more scenes than main lead Michael Tse. However, Bosco denied he is getting more scenes.
"Just rumors. In fact, we have about the same amount of scenes. I didn't appear until episode 2. Our parts are not edited. We've been following the original scripts."
Supposedly a spin-off drama featuring the character Laughing Gor from 2009 drama "E.U.," Bosco stressed Michael, who plays Laughing, is the soul of the drama. He doesn't think he is being heavily promoted by TVB because many good leads are leaving the company.
"Other actors like Michael and Ron Ng are being promoted as well. If we are in a company, they would try to give opportunities to every one of us."

The drama is still on between Moses Chan and Bernice Liu.

Yesterday Moses cleared it up in a radio interview and supported his new girl. Today Bernice attended to an event and explained she didn't say such thing about Aimee.
"The most important thing is, I didn't say Aimee Chan is the third wheel. The interview was recorded. I said what I need to say. I can't control what others think."
Now she cleared it up to the public, but the 32-year-old doesn't think there is a need to personally explain it to her ex. Whether she would give her blessings to Moses and Aimee?

LWD & look alikes
With the summer months fast approaching and finals coming to an end, I can't help but crave an LWD every time the sun comes out. With tan legs, there's really no going wrong.

On a related note, I spoted Kate Bosworth's outfit at a Nylon party the other day on Who What Wear. I immediatley realized I wore an identical outfit 2 weeks prior! So I put it on today for all of you to see, and to toot my own horn a little bit.
Gap military jacket, Free people slip over BCBG tank, Madrass brown suede sandal boots.
Change of heart...
So after all this time, I have been hating hard on flared jeans but with all this talk of the seventies era... I've... kind of... sorta... maybe... fell in love with them?
Flattering and cool.
