'Sunny Happiness' Debuts As #1 On the Rating Chart

"Sunny Happiness" shines some light to Sunday's idol dramas rating competition!

Taiwanese idol dramas aired on Sundays haven't been doing well since last summer. Recent ratings have been quite low, usually just around 1. The premier of "Sunny Happiness" last night changed the pattern. The drama debuted with a sunny 1.67 rating and topped the rating chart as winner.

Mike He's "Calling For Love" received low ratings earlier and therefore he was once regarded as the "poison" to ratings. He is quite relieved after he knew his new drama with Janine Chang did fairly well. Yesterday he and Janine attended a celebration promotion at a motel and skillfully opened a champagne, spraying liquid to everywhere. He disclosed he specially learned that at home.

"I've been practicing at home for a long time," the actor said. "Now I can control how much and how high I want it to be."

Mike He & Janine Chang's Kissing Scene--Tongue Involved?

CTV's back to the Sunday's idol drama competition with new drama "Sunny Happiness" starring Mike He and Janine Chang.

Bed scenes seem normal to appear in idol dramas now, and leads from "Sunny Happiness" had a quite intimate bed scene in the drama. Thinking back the scene now, Mike expressed they were both super nervous.

"In the beginning, we were embarrassed. In order to ease the tension, I purposely called her 'my senior,' and said 'I welcome your advice' to the camera. Feels like filming a category III movie."

Mike was even suspected of sticking his tongue out when he kissed Janine (picture). However, the actor denied, and in contrast, complained his partner for giving him a hard time when filming the bed scene.

"According to the plot, she has to kick me off the bed. But I didn't know she's doing it for real. I got kicked on my stomach!"

As for Mike's "special" habit, Janine said she knows how to "protect" herself.

"We had a deal. Whoever sticks the tongue out, then the other person can bite on it."

Mike He's Birthday Wish is to Have a Girlfriend

Mike He is celebrating his 27th birthday on December 28 and his fans held an early celebration party for him on the 25th. His good friend Dylan Kuo made a special appearance and brought a bottle of aged wine for him, signifying their friendship is long-lasting ["jiu" is the homophones of alcohol and long].

Been single for 4-5 years, the Taiwanese idol's birthday wish is to have a girlfriend. He dated a gril several years before but their relationship ended after he went to film in Mainland. As for his requirements for girlfriend, he hopes she can understand him and it is okay if she works in the showbiz: "I'll admit it if I got photographed, but must be agreed by her."

The "Calling For Love" star is currently shooting 2 idol dramas: <幸福最晴天> (Sunny Happiness) with Janine Chang and <美樂，加油！> with Cyndi Wang. Although he has intimate kiss scenes with the two actress, but the actor actually complains he is hurt by these girls. First, he gets hit by Janine during filming; then Cyndi once kicked on his important private part. Cyndi even said she did not feel it at all, making Mike lose face.

Mike He Loses Weight to Match Cyndi Wang

Mike He and Cyndi Wang are collaborating in new idol drama <<美樂。加油>> and the drama held a press conference yesterday. In the drama, Mike will fight with his brother, play by Eli Shih, for Cyndi. In order to match and look good with Cyndi in the drama, the two love rivals must lose some weight first. After all, Cyndi only weights 41kg!

Before the official competition to win Cyndi's heart in the drama, Mike and Eli are in a competition of losing weight. Mike even boasts his chest muscle looks good now when he wears V-neck shirt, making Eli shouts "absolutely can't lose!"

Mike plays a stubborn famous composer and producer who is hard to work with. Eli plays an unfaithful man. They have relationships with Cyndi, playing someone who always live for other people, and Michelle Chang (also known as the "Little Ady An").

In addition, Cyndi admits she still keep in contact with rumored boyfriend Lee Wei. Talked about her most memorable way he used to pursue her, she jokes it was the caring phone calls. She also admits having some pursuers right now. "If no one is pursuing, then it would be a little sad!," she says with a smile.
