Do you think he's sexy? Aging rock hunk Rod Stewart loved posing with the handbag in Miami, Florida
He famously asked Do Ya Think I'm Sexy in one of his career's biggest hits.
But it is debatable whether even his most dedicated fans would approve of Rod Stewart's Handbag and Gladrags after he showed off at Miami International Airport in Florida.
The football obsessed star struck a cheesecake pose as he tried to wear his unique fashion mode of his wife's handbag and Celtic tracksuit top well.
Perhaps Rod was aiming for a postmodern look by pairing his macho top with a distinctly metrosexual accessory.
The flamboyant former Faces frontman loved camping it up, posing in his Celtic top, white jeans and tartan trainers.
Handbags and Gladrags: It is questionable whether star lived up to his old nickname Rod the Mod by donning this fashion forward ensemble
He was all smiles following Celtic's dramatic 1-0 win over Old Firm rivals Rangers that saw them top the Scottish Premier League, and a fan benefited from his cheery mood as the generous star stopped to sign a photograph.
Rocker Rod arrived in Miami following a long trip that saw him fly from the south of France to Heathrow in London, before making the next leg of his trip to the US.
He was travelling with wife Penny Lancaster and his sons Alistair, six, and 10-month-old Aiden.
Plane Sailing: The rocker and his wife Penny had travelled all the way from France before arriving in the US via London
The family have enjoyed a laid-back Christmas in the South of France.
The trio had clearly enjoyed their trip, even though they would have been tired after such a long journey.
Stylish blonde Penny smiled as she pushed baby Aiden in a stroller, while former gravedigger Rod tightly held Alistair's hand.
Aiden was christened earlier this month in Scotland, with Penny, Rod and 6-year-old Alistair all wearing tartan to the event in Edinburgh.
Couldn't be missed: Rod Stewart proudly wore his Celtic football tracksuit as he made his way through the Heathrow terminal
The London raised singer insisted that the date did not clash with his club's fixture list.
And when the failed footballer discovered his beloved team was playing at its home ground in Glasgow a day before the christening, he insisted on attending the game.
Lancaster told Hello! magazine, 'Before we set the date, I had to check when the Celtic games were on.
'Sure enough, there was one the day before the service, so Rod drove from Edinburgh to Glasgow for the game.'
Put your hand up if your happy! The rocker was thrilled after Celtic's 1-0 victory against Rangers
'I took Alistair and his cousins to the German Christmas fair in Edinburgh, but I was walking around, checking my texts for the football results. His team won, thank God!'
The service was performed by Reverend Ian Gilmour, the minister who conducted Rod and Penny's wedding on a luxury yacht in Portofino, Italy, in 2007.
He also baptised their first son, who is actually Rod's seventh child, with the silver fox having fathered eight offspring by five different women.
Fashion icon: As this 80s shot shows, Rod is no stranger to bizarre fashion combos
