New year, new stylist! TOWIE's Lauren Goodger welcomes in 2012 in tight-fitting and very see-through long black dress

Something a little thicker next time? Lauren Goodger leaves a club in Essex where she saw in 2012 in a tight-fitting see-through dress that showed off her underwear

It's the one night of the year when those going out to party make a real effort to look their sexiest and most glamorous as they welcome in the New Year.
And Lauren Goodger was no exception as she stepped out to celebrate last night - but ended up showing off probably a little more than she intended.
The TOWIE star was snapped leaving the Nu Bar in Essex in the small hours of this morning after joining some friends and cast mates to see in 2012.

But as she was faced with the flashbulbs as she headed to her cab to take her home, the sheer fabric of her dress turned see-through, showing off her underwear to all and sundry.
The tightness of the dress didn't help as it clung to her thighs as she tottered out of the nightspot in Loughton.

She teamed the frock with a studded black clutch bag and towering red heels which she looked a little unsteady on as she left the Nu Bar in the early hours and made her way home.
Earlier in the evening she took to her twitter page to wish everyone a happy new year and wrote: 'Happy nye everyone! Its been an amazing 2011 I've learnt a lot and I love u all! Can't wait see u all in 2012 a lot look forward 2 love u x.'

But this morning it was a different story as she wrote: 'Ahh just woke up n my head!Not gettin out of bed alll day!!Happy NY everyone! Hope u all had a great night!! Going bk sleep Love Lauren x x'
But she wasn't the only TOWIE cast member one who had slipped up in the style stakes to see in the New Year.
She was joined at the club by Lydia Bright and her boyfriend James 'Arg' Argent who looked his usual dapper self in his trademark black evening suit and bow tie.

But Lydia, who stuck by his side, was dressed in a pair of tight gold velvet trousers, which she teamed with a see-through black chiffon shirt and black bra.
Both of them looked like they'd had a good night as they climbed into their car at the end of the festivities, with Arg falling asleep on Lydia's shoulder.
Also with them was Jessice Wright, who was feeling flirty and feline as she arrived in a catsuit complete with furry tail, a dickie bow and velvet ears.
She posed for the cameras as she took to her Twitter page and wrote: 'I hope @nubar_Essex likes black cats cos tonight matthew...........'
