Ella Chen Admits New Romance

Looks like it's true.

Ella Chen was photographed out with new beau Alvin Lai early (second picture above) and their relationship is exposed. Few days after the report is out, she is ready to face the public about her new romance.

"I'm always a cheerful and happy girl. My life recently is indeed happier," she said.

Admitting her relationship with the 35-year-old Malaysian, Ella blushed when reporters asked which tastes better, macaron or malay cake (Alvin's nickname by the media). Other questions related to the relationship such as 'how many people in S.H.E are currently dating' and 'what does Alvin have that attracts you' were asked, but Ella just replied "Thank you for your concerns" with big smiles on her face.

Ella's new beau Alvin stands 180CM tall and weights about 70kg. He once worked for NIKE and is currently the brand associate for Loreal Paris in Taiwan.

Ella Chen Refuses to Kiss Daddy

It seems Ella doesn't like to interact that closely with her dad.

Ella brought her dad to a year-end party held by A-Mei's manager last night. The two proposed a toast to staff from the company and drank a lot. They didn't stay too late, leaving already at 10:30PM.

Reporters were waiting outside for them and asked Ella when she felt a little drunk. She skipped the question and generously introduced the man next to her was her dad.

Reporters then joked whether the S.H.E member could kiss her dad, and that totally surprised her. She was scared and tried to run away, but her dad, who lost his right arm at an accident many years ago, pulled her back and tried to kiss her on the mouth. Knowing she couldn't escape being kissed, she embarrassingly turned her face, only allowed her dad's lips on her face.

This simple family kiss of course didn't satisfied reporters. They even "complained" the two didn't french kiss.

Ella later explained why she felt awkward at that moment, even expose she does have something close interaction with her dad.

"I would feel embarrassed when I'm being photographed by many people. Otherwise, I actually love touching my dad's big belly in general."

Ella Chen Doesn't Accept Director Chen's Apology

Sometimes it's hard to forgive someone.

S.H.E.'s Selina Ren was injured from an explosive accident during filming last year in October. Director of the drama Selina was filming Chen Ming Zhang has been out of the scene since then and avoided the media. After more than 80 days, Chen finally released a 2000-words apology letter recently.

In his statement, he explains he avoids the media to prevent his words being twisted on the reports. He expresses he was notified from the explosive blaster and martial arts man that the scene is "absolutely safe" to film. He is not a professional at this field and would let the professionals handle it.

"Besides trusting the professionals, what else could I do?," Chen writes, "But now it seems I'm wrong. I shouldn't have trusted them completely. If everything could go back, I shouldn't even film that scene!"

Selina's good sister Ella Chen and dad appeared together at an award ceremony yesterday and commented on Chen's apology letter. Ella doesn't understand why Chen didn't apologize until now, even when he mentions he cares about their feelings a lot in the letter. Now he even "moved on" and to film a new drama soon; it really is hard for them to accept.

Selina's dad disclosed Selina had another emotional breakdown when her fiance brought up director Chen's apology. Therefore, it's not a right time for Chen to pay a visit to the hospital at this moment. Selina will be making a public appearance soon, probably around January 20th, and she's 100% prepared.

"We will definitely let her meet the media first, and let them photograph her current condition," Selina's dad said.

As for the exact date and location of the appearance, Selina's parents will let their daughter's record company handle all matters.

Ella Chen Donates to Build Nursing Homes

S.H.E's Ella Chen went to a nursing home today as their "Ambassador of Love" and even donated 200,000NTD to help building nursing homes for vegetative patients.

Before she made her debut to the showbiz, the singer studied medical management at school. She said: "I already know aging population is one of the important issues in the society. I once even thought of buying a piece of land in Pingtung and build nursing homes to help seniors. Now that I know there is an organization that has been giving love to seniors silently, I think it's a very meaning thing to be able to become their ambassador of love."

Ella was massaging for a grandma at the nursing home and even gave her a red wool hat. Ella's 86-year-old grandma started to have bad memories and sick 3 years ago, making Ella worried all the time. She said she would always give her grandma a massage and talk with her whenever she goes back to her hometown.

Starting a new year, S.H.E does not plan to release a new album at this moment. Ella expressed she would start filming new films but avoided talking about any related details, not even the male lead and roles. She said: "It's always my dream to film movies, so it doesn't matter who are my partners, I would look forward to it."

Ella & Hebe Finally Meets the Injured Selina, SHE Reunites At the Hospital

After Selina is injured, her good sisters from S.H.E Ella and Hebe have been worried about their "lao po" (wife, Selina's nickname) and always wanted to visit her. Finally, yesterday afternoon the two went to the hospital to visit Selina after they finished their work in Mainland.

Ella and Hebe went into the isolation room and talked with Selina. They were very emotional and worried when they finally got to meet their injured S.H.E member. Selina even had to comfort them back. Ella said the injured Selina really is different from the Selina in the past. "She is tougher than we thought she would be. She is a miracle," she said. "She knows many people are concern about her, but she hopes everyone don't worry too much."

Hebe praised Selina is a brave shero (female hero, one of their singles). "Our hearts ache to see her injured. But she really is brave and strong. I adore her more now!," she said. She disclosed Selina is in a stable condition and has been in great pain. "She has to keep taking painkiller injections. But the more she inject them, she still needs to rely on herself."

Selina has a better appetite now and specially ordered pork meat rice yesterday. Doctors suggest she should eat foods with high protein and her parents specially made beef soup for their daughter. When she saw her parents, Selina even told jokes to cheer them up. She told her dad that she will listen to doctors and cooperate with them.

The singer suffers a serious 3rd degree burn on her arms and legs and might have to undergo a skin graft surgery if her injuries didn't recover well. However, more than 50% of her skin is burned and she can only take skin off from unhurt areas such as chest and stomach. It's known her medical team plans to use scalp skin for the surgery, which means Selina has to shave off all her hair.

In addition, Selina's mom confirmed that her daughter already shoot wedding photos before the accident, so at least she doesn't have to worry about that now.
