Expressions Queen Trisha Krishnan and Thala Ajith's much-awaited film Mankatha, directed by Venkat Prabhu, has raised expectations almost to breaking point. The star cast of this multi-starrer includes Arjun, Anjali, Lakshmi Rai, Premgi Amaran, Ashwin and Vaibav. In this flick, Ajith plays the role of an ordinary man who does anything to earn money. The crew shot some crucial scenes at Mumbai’s Dharavi slums recently.

Sources say that the film is about cricket betting during the IPL season and Ajith's on screen character is named Vinayak. Sources further reveal that Ajith's character will have some negative shades too. (Remember Shahrukh Khan in Baazigar and Marlon Brando in Godfather?).

The film is produced by Dayanidhi Alagiri under his Cloud Nine Movies banner. Ajith's salt-and-pepper hairstyle similar to George Clooney's in Ocean’s 11 has already created curiosity among critics and audiences. The title song 'Vilayadu Mankatha', which was released as a single track, has already created waves in almost all FM channels.

All eyes are now on the music launch which is expected to take place soon in Chennai. And guess what is Mankatha's byline? "Yellaarum kettavanga, aana ivan romba kettavan." (Every one is bad but he is very bad)!

The Actress, who made her Acting debut as a Heroine in a Tamil film, later moved on to Tollywood as well, and achieved Big success with many Super Hit films, such as ‘Varsham’, ‘Nuvvostaanante Nenoddantaana’, ‘Athadu’ and so on. In fact, Lovely Trisha is the only one such actress who acted two (2) films with actor Mahesh, that are ‘Athadu’ and ‘Sainikudu’. (Mahesh waited more than two months for Trisha dates to pair 2nd time in 'Sainikudu') Otherwise, Mahesh is known for not repeating his Heroines. Well, this is just an example of the expressions queen Trisha Krishnan's popularity.

But, as her popularity used to work in South Industry, the same did not happen in Bollywood. ‘Katta Meetha’ went well commercially in the box office, after that, she is returned back to South. As of now, Trisha is acting in a Tamil film and a Telugu flick with Venkatesh, titled as ‘Ganga - The Body Guard’.

When asked the reason for Trisha not signing film assignments as she used to, earlier, the Actress quickly replies like this, ‘It is not that opportunities are not coming my way. I myself have reduced the work. Earlier, there were many years, I used to work 30 days a month. Now, I prefer working in a way, as I have achieved what all I needed’.

South Indian Beauty Trisha Krishnan's 40th and Thala Ajith Kumar's 50th film 'Mankatha' is almost done and the audio is all set to make its way into stores from next week. While the makers are getting ready with the sizzling teasers, here's an interesting buzz about the film. Venkat Prabhu had clearly delineated 'Mankatha' as a different film and will have now more seriousness in the plot unlike his previous flicks.

In fact, he had confessed that the second half of this film will be a big roller coaster ride with more action and thrill moments. But now we hear it from the closer sources that the film's climax will be the greatest highlight that is reported to be a mixture of comedy and action.

Premji Amaran is expected to have got something special for the audiences, which is going to be a big hilarious treat for the audiences as they walk out of theatres.
