She is a huge fan of alliteration and regularly told her fans she received ‘three thesauri’ from her doting husband for Christmas.
But it appears that Courtney Stodden is a serious about being a bookworm and has been seen shopping for new reading material with her husband.
The 17-year-old paid a visit to The Mystic Journey Bookstore on Abbott Kinney in Venice with 51-year-old husband Doug Hutchinson in tow.

What have we here: The 17-year-old didn't let her short skirt get in the way of viewing the shop's displays on the floor and she was seen bending down

Courtney appeared to be more covered up than usual wearing a short and tight aqua blue skirt and a white vest top.
As ever she was tottering on her sky high heels as she made her way to the book shop.
Never one to shy away from the cameras the teenager was seen putting on her best provocative pose bending over to peruse the goods on offer.

The peroxide blonde was also seen touching her ample chest with her hand as she stared at the camera.
As ever Courtney was displaying lashing of fake tan and plenty of make-up on her face.
Putting her thesaurus, and her love of alliteration to good use the teen took to Twitter to document her day.
She told her followers: 'Had such a vivacious adventure @ Venice Beach today. Now its time for this tasty temptress to tiptoe into 2012 - HAPPY NEW YEAR! Muah XOs...'

And she admits that her friends make fun of her for being: 'A little too sexual.'
The teenager is now said to be working on launching a music career.

Many brides would have found a different location for their wedding if their ideal location was ravaged by a fire.
But following the terrifying fire on Sir Richard Branson's Necker Island last year, his daughter Holly opted to go ahead with plans to have her ceremony on the British Virgin Island.
And, in an exclusive interview with Hello! magazine, Holly said that tying the knot to Freddie Andrewes (Corr) on the remains added a special aspect to the ceremony.

She said: 'Because it is such a dramatic environment, you don't get a sad feeling on the ruins, it's more of an uplifting, wow, a feeling of celebration and a time to reflect.

'It's definitely our special place and it looked absolutely beautiful, even thought it was still very rustic - there are still piles of rubble - it was dramatic. And it's stunning because you're at the top of a hill so there are incredible panoramic views.'
Holly made the revelation as she shared 35 pictures of her beautiful wedding with the publication.

A source said: 'It’s a sure sign that the Queen has mellowed a little.

Talking about being walked up the aisle by Virgin boss Sir Richard, Holly said: 'I saw everyone's smiling faces and Freddie standing there at the altar, I just felt so happy. It was a real moment for us to share.'
And Sir Richard added: 'Its ruins couldn't have been a more perfect setting to hold such a beautiful wedding. We definitely turned a negative into a positive.'

She laughed: 'He was really keen for me to be pregnant walking down the aisle. He didn't think we should worry about being married first.
'My parents weren't married before they had Sam and I, but both had been married before and it didn't work, so I think for us, it's nice to do everything in the right order.'
And Freddie told Hello! he is keen to get started on having children, adding: 'Both of us would love to start a family and we think that marriage is the first step to getting that underway.'

Soon after arriving, he went out to sample the infamous après ski and was spotted in one of the resort’s most famous nightclubs dancing energetically to house music and sharing a magnum of vodka and a magnum of champagne with his friends.

'I feel like a new woman': Mother-of-four sets up slimming group after losing more than EIGHT STONE in just 11 months

The mother-of-four is about to start her own slimming group after losing eight stone and as many dress sizes since this time last year.
Mrs Powell, from Alsager, Cheshire, was a size 28 and weighed in at 19st and seven-and-a-half pounds last January.

But now the 34-year-old is a healthy size 12 after shedding eight stone four and a half pounds in 11 months.
She said: 'When I look back at pictures now, I think it's quite scary, how did I let myself get like that? It was not great for my children, I was always tired.
'It got to the point where my health was really starting to suffer. If I left it any longer, it was just going to get worse.
'Last January, I was always tired, carrying around an extra eight stone. I would be always conscious of my size, but quickly make a joke at my own expense.'

Mrs Powell is now urging other women with weight problems to make a New Year resolution in the hope they can turn their lives around without surgery, crash diets or becoming, in her words, a 'gym bunny'.

'It's very life-changing and has been fantastic. It really teaches life-style changes,' said Mrs Powell, who lives with her husband Rob and their four children - Matthew, 19, Jacob, 13, Tiffany, 10, and seven-year-old Caitlin.
'It's very much eat well, everything in moderation, exercise more.
'Everyone with a weight problem will know they want to lose weight, but doing it is another matter.
'If you had a bad week, you feel like walking out the door - stay and get the support of the people there, everybody is in the same boat.'

The taxpayer could be left to pick up a £150million medical bill for removing faulty breast implants.
As many as 50,000 British women, including breast cancer survivors, are caught up in the scandal over implants made in France and filled with gel meant for mattresses.
The true scale of the problem has only just come to light, with figures suggesting the PIP implants have an 8 per cent chance of rupture – eight times higher than claimed over the last fortnight by the UK’s medical safety watchdog.

Some victims say private clinics are demanding up to £3,000 to remove the implants. The clinics argue that they bought the implants in good faith and would face financial ruin if they had to remove them free of charge.
Health Secretary Andrew Lansley has ordered an urgent review of the safety of the PIP implants and has promised that if there are concerns the Government will ‘act with whatever remedy required’.
He hopes to publish the review’s findings within days, and industry experts expect him to follow France in advising all women with PIP implants to have them taken out.

With each operation costing up to £3,000, the total sum involved could reach £150million.
However MPs and patient groups say it would be ‘outrageous’ for the taxpayer to foot the bill to correct operations which were in the main carried out privately and for cosmetic, rather than medical, reasons.
Leaks of silicone from the implants can cause agonising pain, as well as swelling and lumps in the breast and armpit, some of which can be easily mistaken by women for tumours, causing unnecessary anxiety.
There are also fears that the PIP implants, which were among the cheapest on the market, raise the risk of cancer.

‘After tests I was told the implant had ruptured, the fluid had leaked and my body fluid had filled up my breast,’ she said.

‘I now have huge cavities in my breasts where the implants were and, every six weeks, I have to go to hospital, have a needle inserted into my breasts and the blood which has filled up in the cavities drained,’ she said.
‘It’s painful and unpleasant. I am so angry with myself for having the operation in the first place.
‘But I am also very scared. Am I going to be OK? I don’t know.’

Horrific ordeal of Afghan girl, 15, rescued from toilet prison after husband's family mutilated her for refusing to work as a prostitute

A teenage Afghan girl was brutally tortured, beaten and locked in a toilet by her husband's family for five months after she refused to become a prostitute, it has emerged.
Sahar Gul, 15, was in critical condition when she was rescued from a house in northern Baghlan province last week, after her neighbours reported hearing Miss Gul crying and moaning in pain.
According to police in Baghlan, her in-laws pulled out her nails and hair, and locked her in a dark basement bathroom for about five months, with barely enough food and water to survive.

Her husband's family also burned the teenager with cigarettes and cut out chunks of her flesh with pliers.
After meeting with senior security officials today, Afghanistan president Hamid Karzai said those responsible would be punished.
Despite being barely able to speak, Miss Gul managed to tell media about the terrifying ordeal.

'For several months I was locked up in a toilet by my in-laws and particularly my mother-in-law,' she said. 'I was denied food and water. I was tortured and beaten.'
Doctors say the youngster has suffered both mentally and physically and will need weeks of treatment in order to recover.
'She was married seven months ago, and was originally from Badakhshan province. Her in-laws tried to force her into prostitution to earn money,' Rahima Zarifi, head of women's affairs in Baghlan told Reuters.

Miss Gul is covered in scars and bruises, with one eye still swollen shut six days after her rescue.
She is being treated in a government hospital in Kabul, but she may have to be sent to India, doctors said.
'This is one of the worst cases of violence against Afghan women. The perpetrators must be punished so others learn a lesson,' health minister Suraya Dalil told journalists after visiting Miss Gul today with the women's affairs minister.
Mohammad Zia, a senior police official in Baghlan, who helped to rescue the girl, said Miss Gul's mother-in-law and sister-in-law have been detained, but her husband and father-in-law had escaped.
'We have launched a serious hunt to get her husband and the others involved,' Mr Zia said.

Despite progress in women's rights and freedom since the fall of the Taliban 10 years ago, women throughout the country are still at risk of abduction, rape, forced marriage and being traded as commodity.
However it can be hard for women to escape violent situations at home, because of huge social and sometimes legal pressure to stay in marriages.
Running away from an abusive husband or a forced marriage are considered 'moral crimes,' for which women are currently imprisoned in Afghanistan.
Some rape victims have also been imprisoned, because sex outside marriage, even when the woman is forced, is considered adultery, another 'moral crime.'
