J Crew has impressed me lately. First off, they do the catalog better than any brand out there. The way they put together outfits with the perfect combination of girl and menswear and complimentary colors and fabrics is so inspiring. This video was done for the Spring/Summer collection. So. Adorable.
Additionally, their Fall 2010 collection is stunning. According to creative director Jenna Lyons, the inspiration was "Edie Beal goes to Girl Scout camp." Here are some of my favorite looks:
Some of the details that really make the looks pop in my mind are the touches of fur and sequins, wool socks with heels/boots, fishtail braids, and hot pink lipstick from Nars. Great jacket and pant selection as usual. Fall come already!
